Power Of Mind: The Law Of Attraction
Does reality breed thoughts or do thoughts breed reality?
The answer is both.
Everything you see around you in reality has come from somewhere, whether it's businesses, films, music, buildings, parks or museums or whatever.
If nobody had ever had those thoughts and ideas in the first place then none of them would exist, therefore reality is bred from people's thoughts. Ideas have manifested into reality. Reality, in turn, gets other people thinking about similar ideas or how to improve on those ideas and therefore the reality produced from people's thoughts has helped to create new ideas in other people's minds.
In psychology, there is a rule called the Fundamental Law of Attraction. Despite common belief, this is not just simply about attracting the things you want in life by thinking about them, it actually goes a lot deeper than that. Neither is it a paranormal or pseudo-scientific belief.
The law of attraction claims that whatever a person consciously holds in their mind and feels emotionally attached to and genuinely desires, they will naturally attract those things by subconsciously influencing the world around them. People, including you and I, often act upon impulse, at the sight or sound or memory of something already stored in the mind which triggers a subconscious cue into the conscious mind, bringing it to our attention.
If you consistently and consciously think about something for long enough and have a real passion for that subject or desire, then your subconscious mind kicks into action in order to help make it happen. It is more likely to become a reality simply because you regularly think about the things you want and feel true genuine emotion and a strong desire to have them.
The concept may seem a bit incomprehensive but that's why I have importantly included the word fundamental. You are, essentially, training your subconscious mind to work to your advantage.
Testing The Theory
If you extend your arm out so that it is in a straight horizontal line directly in front of you, then close your eyes and in your mind imagine a load of helium filled balloons tied to the end of your wrist.
Imagine them gradually moving higher and higher into the air and see them in your mind lifting your arm, pulling it up with them further and further towards the sky. After a few minutes of imagining, if you open your eyes you should see that your arm has moved upwards and is no longer in a straight horizontal line.
If this hasn't worked for you then it just means that you are a little less susceptible to auto-suggestion and it may take a little longer for the technique to work. This basic example is based on a topic called ideomotor movements or ideomotion.
Based on this concept, many people use imaginitive visualization techniques to regularly think clearly and with clarity about their dreams, ambitions and goals in life. Some of them will do this for a set period of time each day as part of their routine.
By doing so, they are subconsciously influencing their life via auto-suggestion to help them move subconsciously towards their goals and can start paving the way to a successful future. Abundant thoughts create reality and reality, in turn, helps to breed fresh new original and abundant thoughts and ideas.
Technically we are just living in a world that has been constructed and developed from millions of people's thoughts and ideas.

The Secret
You may have discovered on the internet a book entitled The Secret. This book's claims go as so far as to claim a genuine proven way to become rich and successful... and many of the people selling this book are making plenty of money from the sales of it.
The Secret is actually based on the very simple Fundamental Law of Attraction and just details the techniques mentioned above although the book goes into greater detail.
