So You Don't Believe In UFOs? Ecuador's Government Disagree!

Declassification Of The UFO Phenomenon
In March 2007 France started declassifying their UFO documents, then Britain began declassifying their UFO documents in May 2007. Then Ecuador delcassified their files in May 2008. Other countries started to follow and despite the White House's recent statement denying any evidence of an extraterrestrial presence or cover-up, the disclosure movement is now in full-swing.
During the same period the Vatican opened their doors to the possibility of advanced extraterrestrial intelligence claiming that it would not clash with religious beliefs. Out of all the government documents declassified so far, Ecuador have proven to be both the most open and the most fascinating. In 2008 Ecuador declassified 44 official reports from government and military officials. In a video interview Captain Wilson Salgado stated that UFO's do exist and are of extraterrestrial origin.
Jaime Rodriguez spent 22 years to convince the military that the UFO presence should become official public knowledge. With the support of the media an Ecuadorian government group was set up in order to gather intelligence data on the UFO phenomena which was considered to be potentially vital to humanity. In April 2005 CEIFO (the Ecuadorian committee for the study of the UFO phenomena) was formed.
The creation of the committee saw the Ecuadorian military working with civilians in order to produce a credible report aiming to end the secrecy regarding the UFO presence. Just as in the US when Dr Steven Greer's Disclosure project was formed, Ecuadorian military officials were extremely concerned about the potential states of their careers and reputations upon going public with the information and so the new president at the time, Rafael Correa, intervened and eventually authorization was granted by the minister of defense.
UFO information in Ecuador is now abundant, there is an openness there on the subject and information regarding the UFO phenomena is no longer being concealed. Ever since the committee was formed Ecuador have been deregulating all related government information and all future UFO activities are now due to be unclassified.
The story of how the committee was actually successfully set up is an interesting one which shows attempted infiltration and suppression by the US Secret Service. The video below documents the obstacles sufficiently so I won't go into the gory details here. The documentary contains some of the most remarkable genuine official UFO footage ever recorded and some fascinating smoking-gun evidence straight out of Ecuador.

Wonder what the strong arm of the USA will do to squelch any real info that comes out of them releasing information?
Do UFO's cause global warming?
I look forward to watching the video. I've become pretty convinced that ETs and UFOs are for real and that sometimes they are imagined. Just as the news that the earth is not flat would have been unimportant to me personally if I'd been a farmer or hunter-gatherer living a happy and independent life a few thousand years ago, one that level, the news that ETs are real is of little importance to me now.
On another level, though, it's very important. If my ruler had suppressed the news that the earth wasn't flat and defined its outer boundaries as those that were outside of his sphere of influence in order to keep me enslaved, I'd have been very pissed off. That seems to be the case today and I reckon it's time to say, "Screw you bossman. I'm going for a walk to the edge of the world and discover for myself what's true."
Great hub and I will link to some of my own...for I believe UFO and son called aliens, but do not believe they are on our side!

I have also written a hub on aliens from outer space. Check it out: E.T. Is Here! And He's Watching Us! Maybe Even Living Among Us! You can get to it through my profile page.
I think your hub is very interesting, shedding light on the new openness of governments, and divulging previously secret information. I wonder if everything, all information collected, is being made available or if some things might still be held back? Frankly, I don't trust our government to be straight forward and to share everything that is known on this subject.
Voting you UP, interesting, and sharing with my followers . . .
